Volunteers at the Scottsdale Historical Museum primarily work as 'docents' greeting visitors, orienting them to the museum and answering their questions.

Being a docent is a great way to meet people – visitors from nearby and around the world plus fellow docents you will meet during your shift and at annual volunteer appreciation events.

Volunteer docents are asked to commit to at least one 3 hour shift per month.
