The mission of the Scottsdale Historical Museum is to present, preserve, and interpret through research, exhibits, and educational programming, the prehistory, history and cultural heritage of Scottsdale and the Southwest.
ADMISSION IS FREE
Wednesday through Saturday during these months and times:
September 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
October through May 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
June 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Sundays Noon – 4:00 p.m., September through June
CLOSED JULY AND AUGUST
CLOSED HOLIDAYS - Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve afternoon, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve afternoon, New Year's Day, Good Friday, Easter, Mother's Day and Father's Day.
HOW TO FIND US
Driving The museum is near the intersections of Scottsdale Road and Indian School Road, near Old Town Scottsdale. The nearest parking is entered from Second Street north on Wells Fargo (between Scottsdale Road and Civic Center Boulevard).
Walking Take Main Street east until you reach the Scottsdale Mall at the horse sculpture. After entering the grassy area you will see the Little Red Schoolhouse on your right.
