THE STONEMAN HISTORICAL TRAIL AND MILITARY ROUTE

More than 7.5 miles of the road is with the boundaries of McDowell Mountain Regional Park. It features recently discovered information about this road, which was used to deliver supplies from Fort McDowell to Fort Whipple near Prescott.

On September 29, 2010 at 6:30 p.m. the museum will host “The Stoneman Historical Trail and Military Route” at the Civic Center Library, 3839 N. Drinkwater Blvd. Scottsdale, AZ

On October 13, at 6:30 the same program will be featured at the Appaloosa Library, 7377 E. Silverstone Drive, Scottsdale, AZ 85255.


OLD FASHIONED PICNIC

On October 28, 2010 Scottsdale Historical Museum has its annual pot luck picnic in front of the library. Everyone interested in Scottsdale is invited.


CARD PARTY

On November 6, 2010, we will be hosting a “West’s Most Western Card Party.”
The cost is $25.00 per person with proceeds benefiting the Scottsdale Historical Society.
